Creating beautiful unique items from discontinued upholstry items.
Using discontinued samples makes each item one of a kind. It also saves room in the landfills. Some fabrics can take over two hundred years to decompose. While some have microplastics that are terrible for the earth. Even just one piece saves our planet a little bit more.
I Love our planet and want to leave it a better place for my children and their children one day. I looked into fabrics and learned just how long some can take to decompose. If I was getting this overwhelmed how was mother nature feeling? Now it's my life mission to save as many fabrics from the land fill as possible.
Also using upholstery fabrics means that every item is a little more sturdier then normal fabrics. It also helps keep costs down in this crazy time.
With the economy the way it is I strive to bring affordable items to everyone. reusable and sturdy products designed and structured to last. I put a piece of my heart into every item created. I use the sturdiest threads I can find to help the items hold up. If an item ever breaks or needs repair please contact me as soon as possible so I can get it fix for you.

I became a stay-at-home mom to two children under five in 2010. I needed a purpose. I was losing myself. While I love my children, I needed something that helped my mind. What started with cutting up old clothes from my closest reminded me why I loved sewing. I would turn my old clothes into new items for my children.
Some time around 2011 I saw an ad on craigslist for free fabric samples. I loaded the kids and off we went. Driving through the streets of downtown I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
I entered the doors, and they asked how much I wanted. I said all of it I brought a pickup. Together we filled the bed of my truck and stacked samples around my children.
It looked as though I was moving. My bed was piled high with boxes. I soon thought I had bite more than I could chew. Being my children we young I unloaded the entire truck myself.
At the time we lived in a two-bedroom house. It was small. I brought in so much fabric I thought I'd never use it all. I started designing a few bags here and there. Then the next thing I knew people actually wanted my bags. They said they were great reusable bags.
In 2019 we now had three kids and moved into a bigger house. All the kids at this time were in school and I was home alone all day. Moving into a bigger house benefited me because I was able to have an entire room to my crafting, and crafting I did.
In 2020 when covid hit our family took a finacnail hit. My husband lost his job and I began trying to find ways to help but still remain home. I found a local farmers market and began to sell after some encouragment from others.
Strangers bean to buy my items. People gave suggestions for more items but in my style. So, I got to work. Every item that sales I still sit in disbelief because people enjoy the items I enjoy making.
I hope you've enjoyed reading my story and I hope to be able in assisting you in finding the perfect items for you.
